On some days, it seems like it's been forever coming! And yet, in reality, it's been just a couple of months in the works! A month of real estate shopping and negotiations, and then a little over a month of working incredibly long days and really late nights! ...planning and decision-making, Artic Circle runs, pizza deliveries, to-do lists and to-buy lists, budgeting, and over 6 cases of water bottles from Costco! ...family, friends, employees and contractors working hard to tear-out, remodel, clean, re-paint and spruce up the building to make it perfect for
the Treehouse Daycare &
Preschool's opening day!
And yet, it's also been a long time coming...lots of time and energy and thought; dreaming up plans for an amazing daycare! First, a great building; where ages can be separated in classrooms geared to their interests and abilities, with an outdoor play area and a great commons area for school-wide events. Next, a fantastic staff; all of them dedicated to engaging kids in a fun and compassionate atmosphere while supporting each other as a team. Then, create an atmosphere that is safe, clean, energizing, modern, creative and homey...one that will be inviting to all ages!
